The Push Back Racking system provides the same increased pallet counts as a Drive-In system while also decreasing the time required to access pallets at the back of the system. All loads are stored on a cart, fastened to a rail, that is sloped towards the front. As a new load is stored into a lane, it ‘pushes back’ the loads already stored in that lane, and as the items are retrieved, the loads behind roll forward.
The Push Back Racking system provides high density storage, allowing for two to six deep options, as well as our industry exclusive seven deep racking.
This type of system is ideal for loads of the same goods as well as scenarios where first-in/first-out stock is not crucial. This system reduces picking time where many picking faces are required.
